Happy Legends – What to Expect

Our Happy Legends program begins its first official class on Monday, March 11th at 1PM. Whether you’re a seasoned gym-goer or just starting your fitness journey, this class is designed to meet you where you are and help you progress towards your goals in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Here’s everything you need to know when you become a Happy Legend.

What to Expect:

1. **Class Schedule:** Happy Legends classes will be held three days a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (with a goal of opening more class times and offerings as soon as possible)

2. **Structured Classes:** Each class will prioritize proper warm-ups, strength training, stability exercises, and mobility/flexibility work, all essential components for maintaining overall health  and functional fitness as we age.

3. **No Skill Requirement:** No previous fitness experience or specific skill set is required to join. Whether you’re a beginner or have been active for years, our classes are accessible to everyone.

4. **Inclusive Environment:** We welcome individuals of all fitness levels and backgrounds to participate. Our goal is to create a supportive community where everyone feels empowered to work towards their personal fitness goals and have some fun doing it. 

5. **Class Duration:** Each session will run for 45 to 50 minutes, making it convenient to fit into your busy schedule.

6. **Structured Programming:** Classes will focus on basic, functional, and full-body movements aimed at increasing strength, stability, and mobility. Each day will be slightly different to keep things fresh, but will follow a progressive pattern so you can see and feel results!

7. **Personalized Modifications:** Our experienced coaches are dedicated to helping you succeed. No matter your current fitness level or any pre-existing conditions, we can provide modifications to ensure that each exercise is safe and effective for you.

8. **Small Class Sizes:** To ensure personalized attention and quality coaching, class sizes will be capped at 12 members.

9. **Open to Current Yellow Rose Members:** Current members of Yellow Rose Fitness who are 50 years old and above are encouraged to join our Happy Legends class.

10. **Flexible Membership:** There are no long-term contracts required. Simply pay $165 for unlimited access to our Happy Legends classes.

Q: I’m new to strength training. Will I be able to keep up?

A: Absolutely! Our classes are designed for individuals of all fitness levels, and our coaches will provide guidance and modifications to help you feel confident and successful in every workout.

Q: I mean, I’m VERY new. I’ve never worked out before. Is this for me?

A: YES! This class is for everyone 50 years old and up!

Q: How many classes should I attend?

A: Any number of classes is better than nothing! Our program is designed so you can attend the 3 classes each week easily, but setting a goal of 2 per week is a great start! 

Q: What if I have a previous injury or physical limitation?

A: Our coaches are skilled at adapting exercises to accommodate various needs and limitations. We’ll work with you to find modifications that allow you to participate safely and effectively.

Q: Can I try a class before committing to a membership?

A: Of course! We offer a complimentary trial class so you can experience the Happy Legends program firsthand before making a commitment. But remember, we don’t do long term contracts. Everything is month to month!
