*Stay On Track Friday – Sunday*

Whenever I talk with people about weight loss goals, there’s one big area that we really try to focus on…
Weekends.
Weekends can be tough whenever it comes to weight loss. There’s always events, parties, errands on errands on errands and busy busy BUSY schedules.
Usually this means breakfast out, lunch out, dinner out… lots and lots of meals out at restaurants or fast food joints. We tell ourselves that eating out or going through a fast food joint is faster, easier, and more convenient.
Unfortunately, those meals out can add in some serious calories without us even realizing it! Even if a restaurant or FF place says it’s a “lite” or “low calorie” option, they’re rarely held to that standard and are usually 30-40% higher in calories than advertised. Plus, when you break it down, it’s not even faster than eating at home.
One of the biggest things you can do to help yourself: keep the eating out to a minimum, especially on the weekends.
Don’t freak out. I didn’t say “never eat out” or “you aren’t allowed to enjoy your life.” You’re going to have times when you eat out. Everyone loves a nice meal with loved ones or friends, and snuggling up on the couch with some of your favorite to-go food and Netflix is a pretty solid night as far as I’m concerned…
But if you are looking to make a change, you’re going to need to make a change in your weekend habits and behaviors!
Cook at home more, and eat out less. I promise you that if you can read then you can cook. You don’t have to have a culinary arts degree to make some delicious meals at home
Buh-buh-buh-BONUS: you’ll save a ton of money too. Win win!
