Youth Fitness Information – Yellow Rose Fitness

Wouldn’t it be great if there was a program out there for the youth to learn proper strength training techniques? To learn how to move with good form? To learn that exercise can be fun? To build a LOVING relationship with fitness?

Well, there is, and it’s right here at Yellow Rose Fitness.

Yellow Rose Fitness is proud to offer our youth fitness program where we strive to help our youth love exercise for the rest of their lives. It does not matter if your student is active, inactive, loves sports, or any preconceived notion we might have… this program is for ALL students.

Do you have a child between the ages of 7 and 15? Well this program is for them!

Through our extensive knowledge and experience, we have developed two different groups so your child can receive the most age appropriate and science backed training. This is to ensure that they not only have the best experience possible, but also achieve results and LOVE working out.

7-11 Yr Old Strength & Conditioning Class Times:

Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Saturdays from 10 am – 11 am

12-15 Yr Old Strength & Conditioning Class Times:

Wednesdays from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Saturdays from 11 am – 12 pm

What is class?

Class is a fantastic hour of strength training, fitness, and fun. The biggest goal of this program is to foster a love of physical activity and ultimately physical literacy. A typical class follows a prep (warm up), practice (new skills), and play (workout time) model in class. This class is always lead under the watchful, professional, and expert eye of one of our highly trained coaches. We will always strive to connect with your student, foster community and friendship with others, teach leadership skills, and build confidence!

Youth On Ramp: 

We call our gym the freeway of fitness. There are multiple lanes you can choose, but all of them will still get you to your fitness goals! But we can’t just drop you on a freeway and wish you luck (could you imagine doing your first day of driving on I-45 at 5PM on a Monday? NO WAY). That’s what the On Ramp is for … to get you up to speed!

All new youth members will complete Youth On Ramp Session prior to entering class. The Youth On Ramp Session consists of one 45 minute personal training session ($75). This is an exciting component of the youth program as it will increase your child’s confidence going into class, allow them to meet one of their coaches one on one, and set them up for the best fitness experience possible on their first day of class!
