It never fails.
A 3 day weekend just happened. You wake up on Tuesday (feeling like it’s Monday) and you’re feeling generally “bleh.”
Maybe a little bloated.
Maybe a little foggy.
Maybe a little (or a lot) annoyed at your nutritional behaviors from the past 3 days.
We get it. We’ve been there too. We ALL have.
That’s why it’s important you know what to do. So here it is…
Go back to doing what you were doing Monday – Thursday the week before.
You DON’T need to over-restrict yourself.
You DON’T need to punish yourself with more workouts or extra cardio.
You DON’T need to beat yourself up for having some extra food and drink.
We (and I say we literally because I’m there too)just need to get back to doing what we were doing, and we’ll be just fine.
Our nutritional longevity and long term success depends on us not making mountains out of molehills. If we were to zoom out over the course of a year, there’s going to be more 3 days weekend and some other parties, events, holidays, yada yada that are going to cause us to veer off a bit.
But the opportunities we have to keep our nutrition and fitness well in check far outnumber these blips on the screen.
Get back to doing what you’re doing, and your body will get you back into balance soon enough.

see you at the gym!
